2nd Joint User Meeting at PSI: JUM@P 2011

NMI3 was present at ECNS 2011
NMI3 was present at ECNS 2011 in the exhibitors´ area together with the German neutron facilities HZG, FRM II and JCNS, the Swiss facility PSI and the ILL. At the booth, we distributed printed copies of our brand new newsletter Inside NMI3 and invited students to fill in a quick questionnaire about where they had got the funding to come to the conference. New Walter Hälg Prize winner
On the 19th July 2011, during the 5th ECNS in Prague, Dr. Gerry Lander received the Walter Hägl Prize from the hands of ENSA chairman Michael Steiner. Read more
Erwin Félix Lewy-Bertaut Prize winner
Christian Rügg was awarded the prestigious prize by the European Crystallographic Association (ECA) and The European Neutron Scattering Association (ENSA). Read more
ISIS scientist wins neutron prize for novel nanoscience technique
Dr Robert Dalgliesh from the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source has been awarded the prestigious BTM Willis Prize for neutron scattering. This is in recognition of his development of novel neutron techniques that are opening up new areas of fundamental and applied research in nanoscience. Read more
