NMI3 will be at ICNS!

The International Conference on Neutron Scattering (ICNS2013) will take place in Edinburgh, Scotland, from 8 to 12 July 2013, at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. ICNS 2013 will bring together scientists from a wide range of disciplines including biology, chemistry, earth science, engineering, materials science and physics. Note that the registration fee for students is significantly reduced from the standard rate.

NMI3 will be present with a booth, taking the opportunity to present the results of the Joint Research Activities as well as to inform interested researchers about the NMI3 Access Programme and the Neutron and Muon schools for young researchers. Visitors to our booth will have the opportunity to participate in a fun competition and win special prizes!

NMI3 also invites you to its ICNS satellite Workshop: “Instrumentation – A challenge for European markets” on the afternoon of 9th of July. The meeting will bring together suppliers of key equipment for neutron and muon instruments with people from the facilities who are responsible for purchasing and procurement and the clients who are the facility engineers and scientists. This workshop is the perfect opportunity to speak out loud and get involved in this topic as it will prepare the involvement of suppliers in the next framework program HORIZON2020 (to start in 2014!).
